Process of Adding Multiselect Picklists to a Form

This topic describes the process of adding multiselect picklists to an Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop form. In this example, you add a multiselect picklist field called msplTest_MSP to a Contact object type. In this process, you update the following metadata files:

• od_meta_info.xml
• od_basic_mapping.xml
• forms_12.xml
• package_res.xml

To add multiselect picklists, perform the following tasks:

1. Defining the Objects and Fields That You Want to Synchronize
2. Mapping the Multiselect Picklist Field from the Contact Object
3. Creating a New Object Type for the Multiselect Picklist
4. Customizing the Physical Layout for the Multiselect Picklist
