Disabling a workflow rule

To disable a workflow rule, you must disable the workflow with which the rule is associated. For more information, see About disabling workflow rules.

In the Project Explorer, select the Visit Schedule Explorer bar.
Select a study design, study element, or study event.
Select the Workflow Diagram tab.
Click Disable Workflow.
The workflow arrows turn gray, and the study event sequence numbers re-appear and turn gray.

Note: The Central Designer application only sends a message on validation about disabled rules. You will not receive a message that lists the disabled workflows in your study.
