Calculations on string elements

First characters

Specify the number of left-most characters to display in the report column.

Last characters

Specify the number of right-most characters to display in the report column.

Concatenation

Specify how to join single or multiple report values together including:

• Preceding text.
• Following text.
• Separator between report elements.

Remove trailing spaces

Delete the blank characters at the end (right) of a string value.
