Adding Users to a WebLogic Security Realm
To add a user to a WebLogic Security Realm:
- Log in to the WebLogic Server Administration Console using the following URL:
http://<Server>:<Port_Number>/console
Where:
- <Server> is the server name or IP address of the machine on which the application is deployed.
- <Port_Number> is the port number for the server.
- In the Change Center pane, click Lock & Edit.
- In the Domain Structure pane, click Security Realms.
- In the Realms table on Summary of Security Realms window, click myrealm.
- Navigate to the Users and Groups tab and, in the Users table, click New.
- In the Create a New User window, complete the following:
- In the Name field, enter the name of the user.
- In the Description field, enter a description for the user.
- In the Provider list, select a provider.
- In the Password and Confirm Password fields, enter a password for the user.
- Click OK.
- In the Change Center pane, click Release Configuration.
