Creating a JDBC Connection to an EnterpriseTrack Data Source

To create a JDBC connection to an EnterpriseTrack data source:

  1. Click Administration.
  2. Under Data Sources, click JDBC Connection.
  3. Click Add Data Source.
  4. In the General section, complete the following:
    1. In the Driver Type field, select your version.
    2. In the Database Driver Class field, enter the JDBC driver class for your database.
    3. In the Connection String field, enter your JDBC connection string for the EnterpriseTrack database.
    4. In the Username field, enter the name of the reporting schema user that you created using Configuring the Reporting Schema User.
    5. In the Password field, enter the password for the schema user.
    6. Click Test Connection.
  5. In the Security section, move the role from the Available Roles column to the Allowed Roles column.
  6. Click Apply.
