Rejecting an Idea

Based on your permissions, you may be able to reject an idea.

1. On the Display Idea page, select Reject from the Workflow pull-down menu on the top right corner of the page, or from the main Ideas page, click the Actions column next to the Idea and select Workflow > Reject.
2. In the Reject Idea window, enter a reason for rejecting the idea.
3. Click the Reject Idea button. The window will close and the Display Idea page will refresh to show the details of the idea in read-only mode.

   Note: When an idea is rejected, an informational email is sent to the creator of the idea. Before a rejected idea can be edited, it must be reopened.
