Companies may have multiple projects that are similar to each other within the EnterpriseTrack system. If you have to create a new project that is very similar to an existing EnterpriseTrack project, you can choose to copy a project instead of creating the new project from scratch.
- Click on the Projects link in the Left Navigation Bar, or from the Go To menu select Projects.
- Locate the project you wish to copy.
- Click on the name of the project to view the project basics.
- From the Project Module Menu (Project#) on the Top Navigation Bar select Copy Project.
- On the Project Copy Options page, enter the name of the new project and enter a start date for the project.
- Use the check boxes to select all the elements of the project you wish to copy. By default the system will copy certain core information like the org hierarchy, classification, statements and notes, roadmap with all the deliverables and tasks, the team members, the primary metric etc.
- Click the Copy Project button to create your new project.
- Click Cancel to leave the page without copying the project.
