After Changing the Published Site URL, Log File Shows an Authentication Error

Problem

After changing the published site URL of an application server:

• Reporting and Analytics shows an error message when a user attempts to access the application through the new published site URL for the first time.

• Filters for publishing analysis reports return no results.

• Log file after these attempts show the line: javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: Authentication error

Causes

The user global unique identifiers (GUIDs) for the application server must be refreshed.
