This appendix provides information about how to switch Oracle Application Integration Architecture (Oracle AIA) configurations from one supported Agile PLM version to another supported Agile PLM version.

E.1 Upgrading and Downgrading Agile PLM Overview

You can switch Oracle Application Integration Architecture (Oracle AIA) configurations from one supported Agile PLM version to another supported Agile PLM version. You can switch Agile PLM versions between two supported Agile PLM versions (PIP 3.5 supports Agile PLM 9.3.3, 9.3.4, and 9.3.5), as well as between the Agile PLM 9.3.4 or 9.3.5 WSS enabled environment and Agile PLM 9.3.4 or 9.3.5 WSS disabled environment. For example, see Table E-1 and Table E-2.

E.2 Switching Agile PLM Versions

For switching Agile PLM version configurations in the pre-built integration, follow these steps:

1. Undeploy PIP 3.5. See the Agile Product Lifecycle Management for Oracle EBS: Design to Release Install Guide for information on undeploying.

2. Update the Agile information in the AIAInstallProperties.xml file, located in $DOMAIN_LOCATION/soa/aia/bin/.

   Update attributes in properties/participatingapplications/agile to the correct values. If you are switching to Agile PLM 9.3.4 or 9.3.5 with Web Services Enabled, note that the protocol should be https and the port should be an SSL port.

3. Redeploy PIP 3.5.
