Install the InForm Adapter software on a development InForm software computer:

1. Install the InForm Server Adapter interface (ISA).
2. Install the Transaction and Central Administration interface for the CIS software.
3. Manually add information about the studies with which the InForm Adapter communicates.

Make sure that the InForm Adapter generates transaction XML. Perform this step well before installing the CIS software.

Set the MTS timeout to control the timeout period for the Microsoft Transaction server.
