Audience

This document is intended for those who will be setting up, installing, and operating Oracle MICROS Workstation 625/655 workstations. It is not specific to a particular software application.

Admonitions

Unless specified, the information in this document applies to each configuration of the Workstation 6 Series.

The following symbols may appear in this document:


This figure shows a yellow triangle containing an exclamation point.

Caution: Hot surface. Avoid contact. Surfaces are hot and may cause personal injury if touched.

Depending on the type of power switch your device has, one of the following symbols may be used:


This figure shows a black vertical line.

On: Applies AC power to the system.

 

This figure shows a black hollow circle.

Off: Removes AC power from the system.

 

This figure shows a black circle with a vertical line in the top area.

On: The On/Standby switch is in the standby position.
