Install and Configure an Epson Serial Printer That Prints to IDN COM 4

1. Power off the workstation.

2. Connect the 9-Pin male end of the IDN to RS232 cable assembly to the 9-pin female connector on the printer or cable attached to the printer.

3. Insert the RJ-45 connector end of the cable assembly into the IDN COM 4 port on the Workstation 625/655.

4. Power on the workstation and then immediately press the right or left bottom of the display until a beep sounds to enter the BIOS.

5. Select Workstation, and then scroll down to make the following changes:

   1. 422 Mode Selection = Disable

   2. 232 Mode Selection = 232 Mode

6. Press Home menu (bottom of display) then Save & Exit.

7. Select Exit Saving Changes, and then save configuration changes and exit now.

8. The workstation will boot into Windows 10.
