Displaying and Hiding Table Columns

You can select which columns to display and hide in a table.

To display or hide table columns

  1. From the View menu, select Columns.

A sub-menu appears displaying the list of available columns. Columns that are currently displayed appear with a blue check-mark next to them.

  1. To hide a column, click the name of the column in the Columns sub-menu. The sub-menu closes. When you display the Columns sub-menu again, the blue check-mark no longer appears next to the column name, indicating the column is now hidden in the table.

To display a hidden column, click the name of the column in the Columns sub-menu. The sub-menu closes. When you display the Columns sub-menu again, the blue check-mark now appears next to the column name, indicating the column is now visible in the table.

  1. To select additional columns to display, from the View menu, select Columns > Show More Columns. Use the Show More Columns dialog to display additional columns, or to change the order of the columns.
  2. To display all the columns, from the View menu, select Columns > Show All. All hidden columns will be displayed.
