Validating Request Items

Request items are validated at each workflow stage a request enters during its lifecycle. The validations run for each request item are based on the configuration of the workflow model for the request. All request items must pass validations for a stage before it can proceed to the next stage in the workflow path.

  To validate request items:

  1. Add request items to a request.

  2. Define property values for the request items.

  3. Click Validate for the request.

  4. View validation failures for each request item and their properties.

  5. Make corrections to the request items.

  6. Click Validate again until the request passes validations.
