Oracle MICROS Mini Printer

The Oracle MICROS Mini Printer attaches to the right side of the Oracle MICROS E-Series Base Station. It can print the following items:
  • Guest Checks

  • Customer Receipts

  • Kitchen Display System (KDS) Runner Order Receipts

  • Order Device Output

  • Workstation Reports

The Oracle MICROS Mini Printer is a 32 column printer with paper that is 2 inches in width.

The Oracle MICROS Mini Printer does not have auto-cut capability; it has a serrated edge to help tear the paper. Because of this, workstation operators need to have a slight delay occur to allow the opportunity to tear individual print jobs before printing a second voucher or order receipt. Note the following configuration settings that can affect a printing delay:
  • Regardless of the credit card option setting 4 - Prompt Before Printing Second Voucher from the RVC Parameters module, the first print job occurs and then the workstation operator receives a Print second voucher prompt message. Before responding to the prompt, the workstation operator can tear the first print job and then respond to the prompt by pressing either the Enter/Yes or Clear/No buttons on the Oracle MICROS Tablet E Series to continue with the second print job.

  • You can assign employee time chit printers from the Workstations module. If you assign the Oracle MICROS Mini Printer (a non-auto-cut printer) as the Empl Time Chit Printer and the Empl Time Card Printer, the time chit prints and workstation operators receive a Print Time Card prompt when clocking in and out on a workstation. Before responding to the prompt, the delay affords workstation operators the time to tear off the time chit. Workstation operators can respond to the prompt by pressing either the Enter/Yes or Clear/No buttons on the Oracle MICROS Tablet E Series to continue with the time card print job. If you assign another printer (besides the Oracle MICROS Mini Printer) for either of the Employee Time Chit or Employee Time Card printing jobs, workstation operators do not receive a prompt as the print jobs print independently of each other.

You cannot attach the Oracle MICROS Mini Printer to a Sales Recording Module (SRM).
