Before you begin

You can perform either a manual or a silent installation of the Central Coding software.

Before you run the installation, make sure that:

The database instance is running.
All clocks are synchronized on the machines where you are installing the Central Coding software and the database server.
The installation program verifies that the clocks are synchronized. If they are not synchronized, an error message appears. Installation cannot continue until the clocks are synchronized.

Note: Oracle recommends that you configure both the application server and the database server to use the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) time zone. In this way you can avoid any confusion in timestamp data in scenarios such as migration to a new database server that uses a different time zone.
The ASP.NET state service is started.
The job scheduler is turned off.
