Configurations with multiple Central Coding instances

• Multiple Central Coding instances and the database server on the same machine.
• Multiple Central Coding instances on one machine and the database server on a different machine.
• Multiple Central Coding instances on different machines and the database server on a different machine.

  This configuration might be practical if, for example, you use the Central Coding application across different geographic regions.

You can configure application servers as logical entities, allowing multiple Central Coding instances to co‑exist on the same machine. Central Coding instances can map to either:

• Unique database instances, each of which has its own dictionaries.
• A single database instance that shares dictionaries.

In environments with multiple Central Coding instances, each instance has its own:

• URL
• Job scheduler
