About integrating with the Clintrial or InForm application

Note: Central Coding no longer supports WSE web services. Starting with release 3.1, Central Coding communicates through WCF web services only. Because no existing release of the Clintrial software supports WCF web services, Central Coding 3.1 cannot be integrated with the Clintrial software at the time of this release.

Check the Release Notes for Clintrial releases after 4.7.4.2 to find out which Clintrial release can be integrated with Central Coding 3.1 and higher.

The Central Coding application supports integration with the InForm application and the Clintrial application at the same time under the following circumstances:

One of the following is true:
- The InForm application, Clintrial application, and Central Coding application are behind the same firewall.
- The InForm application, Clintrial application, and Central Coding application are not behind the same firewall, but a VPN is used between the Central Coding application and the Clintrial application.
The Clintrial software is installed on a different machine than any of the Central Coding application servers.
The InForm software and the InForm Adapter software are installed on different machines than any of the Central Coding application servers. The InForm Adapter software can be installed on the same machine as the InForm software or on its own machine.
