Creating a custom dictionary definition XML file

Use the standard XML files for the MedDRA, MedDRA-J, WHO‑DD, and JDrug dictionaries as the basis for your custom XML files. These files are in ...Central Coding Application\DictionaryLoader\Setup.

For the DictionaryType element:

• adaptertype sub-element must be Custom.
• numlevels must be greater than 0 and must equal the number of Level elements.
