Steps to load a standard coding dictionary

If you are using a WHO-DD dictionary, determine whether you are using a pre-ICH or ICH format of the dictionary. |

Make sure that the dictionary type for the dictionary that you want to load has been imported. |

Make sure that the dictionary connection is established. |

The Dictionary Loader tool uses dictionary types to create dictionary schemas. |

Load dictionary data into the database using the schema that you generated. The dictionary schema must exist before you can load data into it. |

Dictionaries must be activated to be used for coding. |
