Approval rules

Approval rule maintenance is used to configure conditions that define the approval flow considering the following;

For the above inputs, configuration is done to define if approval is required or not, if required – the workflow is linked which will be followed for approval process.

Approval rules can be configured for corporate users and transactions as well as administrator users and maintenances.

Dashboard > Approvals > Approval RulesRules are set of application instructions to form the logic and basis of calculation across various modules. Multiple conditions can be set in a single Rule ID. These rules are used across modules to calculate interest rates, service charges, and so on.

To create a approval rule:

  1. Click the Approval Rule icon.
  2. The User selection screen appears. Select the appropriate option.
  3. If you select Admin User:
  1. Click Create.
  2. In the Rule Code field, enter the workflow code.
  3. In thew Rule Description field, enter the name of the workflow.
  4. From the Initiator section, click appropriate user / user group.
  5. From the list, select the appropriate user / user group.
  6. From the Transaction list, select the transactions to be mapped to the rule.
  7. From the Workflow Details section, select whether approval is required for the mapped transactions.

Approval Rule - Admin User

  1. If you select Corporate User:
  2. In the Party ID field, enter the party ID.
  3. Click Search.
  4. The corresponding result appear. Click Create.
    OR
    Click Back to navigate to previous screen.
    OR
    Click Cancel to abort the user group maintenance process.
  5. In the Rule Type field, select the appropriate transaction rule type.
  6. In the Rule Code field, enter the code.
  7. In the Rule Description field, enter the rule name.
  8. From the Initiator section, click appropriate user / user group.
  9. From the list, select the appropriate user / user group.
  10. From the Transaction list select the transactions to be mapped with the rule.
  11. From the Accounts list, select the account numbers to be mapped with the rule.
  12. In the Amount Range section, enter the minimum amount in the From Amount field.
  13. In the To Amount field, enter the maximum amount.
  14. From the Workflow Details section, select appropriate option in the Approval Required field.

Approval Rules - Corporate User

  1. Click Create to create the rule.
    OR
    Click Back to navigate to the previous screen.
    OR
    Click Cancel to close the maintenance creation process.
  2. The review screen appears. Click Confirm .
    OR
    Click Editto modify the rule.
    OR
    Click Cancel to close the rule creation process.
