WORKFLOW MANAGEMENT

The approval workflow management allows you to configure approver groups in a sequence as per the requirement. A workflow can have up to five approver groups which means up to five levels of approval are supported. Whenever a transaction is initiated, system resolves a particular workflow based on the approval rules configured and then transaction is assigned to the approver group maintained as part of the workflow.

Workflow maintenance eases the approval rule set up as the AdministratorAdministrator is a set of individuals that administer the applicant/Affiliate entity. For example, Accountants, Authorized Signatories for organizations, Power of Attorney for individuals. doesn’t have to link multiple Approver groups in the approval rule; just a workflow linkage is required.

To create a approval workflow:

  1. Click the Workflow Management icon.
  2. The User selection screen appears. Select the appropriate option.
  3. If you select Admin User:
  1. Click Create.
  2. In the Workflow Code field, enter the workflow code.
  3. In the Workflow Description field, enter the name of the workflow.
  4. From the Approval Details section, click appropriate user / user group.
  5. From the user name list, select the approver user name.
  6. Click Add to add more than one approval levels.

Note: Click to delete a record.

  1. If you select Corporate User:
  2. In the Party ID field, enter the party ID.
  3. Click Search.
  4. The corresponding result appear. Click Create.

    Click Back to navigate to previous screen.
    OR
    Click Cancel to abort the user group maintenance process.
  5. In the Workflow Code field, enter the code.
  6. In the Workflow Description field, enter the workflow name.
  7. From the Approval Details section, click appropriate user / user group.
  8. From the list, select the appropriate user. Click Add to add more than one user / user groups.
  1. ClickSaveto create the admin user groups.

Approval Management provides an option to the bank administrator to enable various transactions to follow approval flow on channel banking. The approval management allows to set the maker / checker flow, wherein a transaction is initiated by a maker and the same is authorized by a single / multiple checker(s) depending on the configuration. It helps to keep a tab on approval of transactions based on certain parameters. For example: If you configure the application in such a way that if transaction with more than certain amount or a specific or bunch of transactions or a specific or all accounts has to be approved by multiple checkers.
