Import Content Defaults


After completing this topic, you will be able to import content defaults.


Steps:

  1. Import the WordPad defaults.ops file into your Developer installation.

     

    Click the Tools menu.

  2. Point to the Import command.

  3. Click the Content Default Options command.

    Step 3

  4. Browse to the location in which the exported options file (.ops) is stored.

     

    We have opened the Training Files folder for you.

  5. Click the WordPad defaults.ops list item.

  6. Click the Open button.

    Step 6

  7. You successfully imported the content defaults file. We will now view the changes made to the General, Bubble, and Introduction/End Frame content defaults.

  8. Click the Tools menu.

  9. Click the Options command.

  10. Click the Topic category under Content Defaults.

    Step 10

  11. The Required percentage under Know It? Options is now set to 75% instead of 85%.

  12. Click the Bubble category.

    Step 12

  13. The previous Bubble background was set to Light Blue with an icon in the bubble. The import has changed the background to Pale Yellow and removed the icon.

    Step 13

  14. Click the Introduction/End Frame category.

    Step 14

  15. The original Introduction/End Frame background was set to White and the import has changed the default to Pale Yellow.

    Step 15

  16. Close the Options dialog box.

     

    Click the OK button.
