Steps:
Before a user starts the Know It? playback, you may want to use the Introduction frame to describe the task that the user is expected to perform.
Click at the end of the text in the bubble text pane.
Step 1Add a line after the text.
Press [Enter].
Step 2Enter the desired information into the Bubble text field. Enter "Open the Customer.rtf file.".
Step 3Select the text you just entered.
Click before the O in Open.
Step 4Press the [Shift] key and click after the period in the sentence.
Step 5Display the selected text in Know It? mode.
Click the Visible in Know It? button.
Step 6Remove the selected text from See It!/Try It! and Do It! modes.
Click the Visible in Do It! button to deselect it.
Step 7Click the Visible in See It!/Try It! button to deselect it.
Step 8Notice that the added text disappears from the display bubble.
Step 9Change the Display preview to Player - Know It?.
Click the Display list button.
Step 10Click the Player - Know It? list item.
Step 11Navigate to the Explanation frame using the frame structure.
Click the X frame.
Step 12Notice that the text in the bubble text pane is grayed out for Know It? mode. This text does not appear in this play mode.
Step 13Select the text in the bubble text pane.
Click before the I in the bubble text pane.
Step 14Press the [Shift] key and click after the period in the sentence.
Step 15Include the selected text in Know It? mode.
Click the Visible in Know It? button to select it.
Step 16Notice that the text now appears in the bubble for Know It? mode.
Click the third F frame.
Step 17Enter custom text into the bubble.
Click in the bubble text pane.
Step 18Enter the desired information into the field. Enter "Hint: The file is located"
Step 19We have added the rest of the bubble text for you.
Notice that the text does not appear in this play mode.
Step 20Select the custom text.
Click before the H in Hint.
Step 21Press the [Shift] key and click after the period in the sentence.
Step 22Specify that the text should appear in Know It? mode only.
Click the Visible in Know It? button.
Step 23In order to show the selected text in Know It? mode only, the icons for the Visible in See It!/Try It! and Visible in Do It! modes need to be disabled.
Click the Visible in Do It! button to deselect it.
Step 24Click the Visible in See It!/Try It! button to deselect it.
Step 25Because the preview display is set for Know It? mode, the custom text appears in the bubble, but the template text does not.
