Print an Outline

After completing this topic, you will be able to print the structure of an outline.

Steps:

1. View the print preview of your outline structure.

    

   Click the File menu.

   Step 1

2. Click the Print command.

   Step 2

3. Although it is a good idea to show or hide the portions of the outline you want to print before you open preview, you can expand and collapse sections of the outline from the Preview window. Collapse the Document Basics module.

    

   Click the Collapse button next to Document Basics.

   Step 3

4. Expand the module.

    

   Click the Expand button next to Document Basics to see the entire module.

   Step 4

5. You can export the outline report to a file or graphic format.

    

   Click the Save Document list arrow on the toolbar.

   Step 5

6. A list of export formats appears.

   Step 6

7. Close the Save Document menu without exporting the report.

    

   Press [Escape].

   Step 7

8. Close the Preview window.

    

   Click the Close Preview button.

   Step 8
