Insert a Hyperlink to a URL


After completing this topic, you will be able to insert a hyperlink to a URL.


Steps:

  1. Hyperlink the word "Orientation" to a URL.

     

    Double-click the word Orientation to select it.

  5. Click in the Address field.

  6. Enter the desired information into the Address field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "http://www.w3.org"

  7. Use the Go button to preview the URL.

     

    Click the Go button.

  8. Once the URL is working, click OK to add the URL to the text.

    You can also link to a web site that is saved in a package.

  11. Select the text Margins in the bulleted list and create a hyperlink.
