Add New State Values


After completing this topic, you will be able to add a State value.


Steps:

  1. You must be logged on as an Administrator to use this feature.

     

    The current user belongs to the Administrators group. Notice the Administration command on the menu bar.

  2. Add a new State value.

     

    Click the Administration menu.

  3. Click the Manage State Values command.

  4. Click the Add new value button.

  5. Enter the desired information into the Value field. Enter "In Testing".

  6. Click the OK button.

  7. Click the OK button.

  8. Click the Using Print Preview topic.

  9. You can appy a Workflow property to checked in, checked out, or locked documents.

  10. Assign the new State value to the selected document.

     

    Click in the State field.
