Steps:
You can use the Element Path to trace formatting sources. Look at the settings in the blue Element Path at the bottom of the Web Page Editor.
We will use the Element Path to trace the formatting of a selection, starting from left to right.
Step 1Click in the text whose elements you want to trace.
Click in the shorter text formatted with a text style.
Step 2Pointing to an element in the Element Path displays a tooltip.
Point to the Paragraph link.
Step 3The tooltip shows the html element type <p> and both the default and non-default paragraph styles that are affecting the text.
Step 4Point to the Text link.
Step 5The tooltip indicates that the style formatting is applied as a span and the name of the text style.
Note: Text styles are applied as spans.
Step 6Click the Text element.
Step 7Clicking an element name selects the element.
Step 8Click the Paragraph element.
Step 9Notice that the settings in the Style Inspector change to reflect the current selection.
