Recapture a Screenshot

After completing this topic, you will be able to recapture a screenshot.

Steps:

1. The topic was originally recorded without an open document in the WordPad window. Change the screenshot for the first frame to show a document with selected text.

   Step 1

2. Recapture the screenshot for the selected frame.

    

   Click the Edit menu.

   Step 2

3. Point to the Recapture command.

   Step 3

4. Click the Screenshot command.

   Step 4

5. Notice that the Recorder opens with "Recapture Screenshot" as the next screenshot to be captured. Before recapturing a screenshot, you should make sure that the target application is set up to display what you want to capture.

    

   We have opened a document and selected some text for the screenshot.

   Step 5

6. Activate the WordPad application.

    

   Click the NewCustomer.rtf - WordPad title bar.

7. Press [PrintScreen] to recapture the screenshot.

   Step 7

8. Notice that the original blank document screenshot has been replaced with one you captured showing text.

   Step 8

9. Select the Start frame.

    

   Click the S frame.

   Step 9

10. Changing the screenshot for the first frame also affects the Start frame.

    Step 10
