Replace a Style with Another Style


After completing this topic, you will be able to replace a style with another style.


Steps:

  1. Create a new Heading 2 style and name the style H2.

     

    Click the Add Style button.

  3. Enter the desired information into the Style Name field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "H2"

  5. Add a gray background color to the style.

     

    Click the Background Color button.

  6. Click the Gray in the Web Colors palette.

    You can only replace a style with another style of the same element. For example, you cannot replace a Heading 2 style with a Table style.

     

    Click the Heading 2 - H2 list item.

  30. A preview of the replacement style appears in the Replace Font dialog box.

     

    Because the Include related documents option is selected, the replace will search all web pages in the outline linked to the MyStyles style sheet.

     

    Because style sheets only apply to web pages, all of the Apply to options are unavailable, except Web page text.

  31. Include web page text in the search.

     

    Click the Web page text option.
