Formatting applied to text, such as bold, italic, font size, color, can be stripped out with the Clear Formatting tool. All formatting is removed from the selected text and the text is displayed in the default font and style.

Note: If you are applying styles to content that uses direct formatting or legacy content (content created in an earlier version of the Developer), you may first need to use Clear Formatting to remove the formatting for the existing text.
 

To remove formatting from text:

1. Select the formatted text.
    
2. Click  Clear Formatting.
