Release Notes
Release 15.0
E69270-01
December 2015
This document highlights the major changes for Release 15.0 of the Oracle Retail Sales Audit.
Overview
Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) provides the tools to evaluate point-of-sale data to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information exported to downstream systems used in optimization processes, financial reporting, and analysis.
Hardware and Software Requirements
See the Oracle Retail Sales Audit Installation Guide for information about the following:

n Oracle Retail application software compatibility
Functional Enhancements
The functional enhancements below are included in this release.
ReSA Mobile
Oracle Retail understands that not all retail business happens in the office. To better support retailers on the go, a ReSA mobile application accelerator was released in version 14.1 to support the creation of mobile applications. APIs were also included to support the validation and execution of the functions enabled by the mobile application accelerator. This mobile application was made generally available in version 14.1.1 and includes a mobile dashboard oriented to a Sales Audit Manager with the ability to search and drill into specific transactions. From the mobile application, managers can flag and notify others of key action items.
Other Enhancements
n Row headers were added to all tables in ReSA, which are used by screen readers to provide context to visually impaired users without requiring the full detail of a table row to be read as the user navigates through the screen.
n Reports access in ReSA was moved from a separate screen to links in the task list that can be made available to users based on security roles and privileges defined for ReSA users.
Technical Enhancements
The technical enhancements described below are included in this release.

Oracle Retail Sales Audit Release 15.0 is supported for use with the following database server:

Oracle Retail Application Administration Console (RAAC)
RAAC is an application that is being introduced in 15.0 for all ADF-based applications, like ReSA, which allows application administrators to manage duties and roles for their users and to manage task list links that those roles are associated to in ReSA. Access to this application will be given to the application administrator role by default in ReSA and will be accessible from the task list.
Integration Enhancement
The integration enhancement described below is included in this release.
Xstore Integration
Packaged integration with Oracle Retail Xstore Point of Service was added as part of ReSA 15.0 to provide store-level transaction information. The most notable change within ReSA is the addition of the transaction type 'OTHER' used to handle various non-sale or return transactions supported within Xstore that are not directly relevant to ReSA.
