This figure shows a flowchart to help you decide whether to implement a collocated domain or a standalone domain. The initial choices are:
You want to manage your Oracle HTTP Server on one or multiple hosts with Fusion Middleware Control
You are not interested in managing your Oracle HTTP Server with Fusion Middleware Control: in this case you will implement a Standalone Domain
You want to access upper stack features, such as Oracle SOA Suite or Oracle Web Services Manager: in this case you will implement a Collocated Domain in Full-JRF Mode
You plan to use only Oracle Traffic Director and Oracle HTTP Server: in this case you will implement a Collocated Domain in Restricted-JRF Mode
