Configure an Analysis View in a Workspace

You can configure charts and grids to tailor them to your analysis views.

At the workspace level, you can choose which portfolios the analysis view should be available to and whether other users have the ability to customize the view.

To configure an analysis view in a workspace:

  1. In the object selector, select a workspace.
  2. In the sidebar, select Summary & Settings.
  3. On the Summary & Settings menu, select Dictionaries, and then select Analysis Views.
  4. Select an analysis view.
  5. On the View tab, select the chart pane or grid pane you would like to modify, and select Configure.
  6. Configure your chart or grid:
    • If you selected a chart, use the Configure Chart wizard to change the properties of the chart.
    • If you selected a grid, use the grid Settings dialog box to change the properties of the grid.
  7. On the Settings tab, configured the following columns:
    • Portfolios: Select a check box to make the current analysis view available to that portfolio.
    • Publish View: Select to enable users to access the analysis view from the Published Views page for the portfolio. If disabled, the view will not be displayed. The analysis view must be available to the portfolio before you can publish it.
    • User Customization: Select to allow a user with the appropriate privileges to customize the analysis view while viewing data.
  8. Select Save.
  9. Select Save.
