Create an SFTP Service REST Connection
Create a connection with Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) service using the FTP Adapter.
To create a connection with the SFTP service:
- In the navigation pane, select Design, then Connections.
- Click Create.
- In the Create Connection panel, select the FTP adapter.
Note: To find the adapter, scroll through the list or enter a partial or full name in the Search field.
- Enter the information that describes this connection:

(Note: The identifier is automatically added. If you modify the identifier, do not include blank spaces.)

- Click Create.
Your connection is created. You are now ready to configure connection details, such as connection properties, security policies, and connection login credentials.
- On the connection properties page, complete the following:
- In the Properties section, complete the following fields:
- In the FTP Server Host Address field, enter the host address of the FTP/FTPS server.
- In the FTP Server Port field, enter the FTP server port number.
- Expand the Optional Properties section, and then from the SFTP Connection drop-down list, select Yes.
- In the Security section, complete the following fields:
- From the Security policy drop-down list, select FTP Server Access Policy.
- In the User Name field, enter your username.
- In the Password field, enter your password.
- In the Properties section, complete the following fields:
- On the page title bar, click Test.
The test starts automatically and validates the inputs you provided for the connection. You will get a notification if the test was successful.
- Click Save.
