Create a Project Proposal from an Approved Idea

After an idea has been approved, if you are using the default workflow, you can create a project proposal directly from the approved idea.

Note Project proposals cannot be created in Primavera Cloud unless an approve project proposal workflow has been set. To set a project proposal workflow, see Configure the Approve Project Proposal Workflow Action.

To create a project proposal:

  1. In the object selector, select Idea, and then select View Ideas List.
  2. In the table, select an idea name.
  3. In the sidebar, select Home.
  4. Select the Action menu, and then select Create Project Proposal.
  5. Complete the form.

Tip

  • As idea owner, you can also create a project proposal at the same time that you approve an idea. To do this, select the Action "" menu, and then select Accept and Create Project Proposal.
  • You can also do this from the Ideas List page. Select the "" Context menu, and then select Create Project Proposal.
