Import a WBS from Microsoft Excel

Schedule Overview > WBS Overview > Create a WBS by Import

You can import a WBS and WBS data into the application from a Microsoft Excel (.xls or .xlsx) file. After downloading the import template, follow the instructions to create or update a WBS in the spreadsheet. The import will fail if there are any invalid values in the spreadsheet. You can download the spreadsheet file to view and fix the errors indicated in the error column at the end of each worksheet, and then import the file again.

You must have sufficient privileges to perform this task.

To import a WBS from Microsoft Excel:

1. Navigate to the WBS page
   1. In the object selector, select a project.
   2. In the sidebar, hover over  Schedule or  Scope, and select WBS.
2. On the WBS page, select the Actions  menu, and then select Import.
3. In the Import WBS dialog box, select  Browse, select a file, and select Import.
