Add Hours to an Activity on a Timesheet

Timesheet users can log hours against activities for a project on their timesheets on the Timesheet Details page. You can log hours against any activity from a project that you have access to even if you are not assigned as a resource to that activity.

To log hours against an activity on a project:

  1. In the header, select your username.
  2. On the User menu, select Timesheets.
  3. On the Timesheets page, select My Timesheets from the View menu on the toolbar.
  4. On the Timesheets page, select a timesheet from the Name column.
  5. On the Timesheet Details page, select a project, select the Context menu, and then select Add Hours.
  6. In the new row, select an activity.
  7. (Optional) Add a Project Supervisor if a default supervisor has not been added for the project.
  8. (Optional) In the Hour Type column, select the type of hours for which you are logging time, such as overtime or holiday time.
  9. Enter hours for each day in the time period.
  10. Select Save.
