Configuring the Approve Proposal Step

The Approve Proposal step includes two tasks: an update field task and a form task. The update field task updates the Status field of the proposal that the workflow runs against, changing its value from Proposal to Planned. The form task shows the proposal owner the Proposal Approval Notification.

To configure the Approve Proposal step:

  1. In the workflow element list, expand the Approve Proposal step.
  2. Select the Approve Proposal task.
  3. In the Options area, in the Update Field field, select Select.
  4. In the Select Field (Project) dialog box, expand the General group and select Status.
  5. Select OK.
  6. In the Update Value list, select Planned.
  7. Select Save.
  8. In the workflow element list, in the Approve Proposal step, select the Notification - Proposal Approved task.
  9. In the Options area, in the Form field, select Select.
  10. In the Select Form (Project) dialog box, select Proposal Approval Notification.
  11. Select Select.
  12. In the Options area, in the Performers field, select Select.
  13. In the Create Performer List dialog box, in the Search field, enter your username.
  14. Select Move Right.
  15. Select Create.
  16. Select Save.
