Adding Form Elements to the Proposal Approval Notification Form

Note: This topic is part of the Creating a Project Proposal Approval Workflow: Example series.

To add the form elements to the Proposal Approval Notification form:

  1. In the Form toolbar, select the Instruction Text icon and drag it onto the form canvas.
  2. In the Properties: Instructions area, in the text area, enter the following text: The project proposal has been approved. Its status has been changed to Planned.
  3. In the Form toolbar, select the Input Field icon and drag it onto the form canvas.
  4. In the Select Fields dialog box, in the Available list, find and select the Workspace field, and then select Move Right.
  5. Find and select the ID field, and then select Move Right.
  6. Find and select the Name field, and then select Move Right.
  7. Find and select the Description field, and then select Move Right.
  8. Find and select the Planned Budget field, and then select Move Right.
  9. Find and select the Project Planned Start field, and then select Move Right.
  10. Find and select the Project Planned Finish field, and then select Move Right.
  11. Find and select the Status field, and then select Move Right.
  12. Select Select.
  13. In the Form toolbar, select the Instruction Text icon and drag it onto the form canvas.
  14. In the Properties: Instructions area, in the text area, enter the following text: Select the Cash Flow link to enter Time Phased Budgets for this proposal.
  15. In the Form toolbar, select the Hyperlink icon and drag it onto the form canvas.

    The default Linked Page value is Cash Flow. This is the page we want to link to, so leave it how it is.

  16. Select Save.
