Adding the Final Review Manual Decision Step

Note: This topic is part of the Creating a Project Proposal Approval Workflow: Example series.

The Final Review step requires a user to approve or reject the proposal.

To add the Final Review manual decision step:

  1. In the Workflow Design toolbar, select the Add a manual decision step icon and drag it onto the workflow design canvas.
  2. Position the new step below the Collect More Information step icon and to the right of the Approve Proposal step icon.
  3. In the Manual Decision area, in the Name field, enter Final Review.
  4. In the Description text area, enter Final review of the proposal.
  5. In the Task Name field, enter Final Review Decision.
  6. In the Instructions text area, enter Review this proposal, and then mark it Approved or Rejected.
  7. In the Decision Question field, enter Do you want to Approve or Reject this proposal?
  8. In the Collect More Information task step icon, selectDraw Path icon Draw connector line.
  9. Select the Final Review manual decision step.
  10. Select Save.
