Configuring the Reject Proposal Step

The tasks in the Reject Proposal Step do the exact opposite of those in the Approve Proposal Step. They set the Status of the proposal to Rejected and send a notification that it has been rejected.

To configure the Reject Proposal step:

  1. In the workflow element list, expand the Reject Proposal step.
  2. Select the Reject Proposal task.
  3. In the Options area, in the Update Field field, select Select.
  4. In the Select Field (Project) dialog box, expand the General group and select Status.
  5. Select OK.
  6. In the Options area, in the Update Value list, select Rejected.
  7. In the workflow element list, in the Reject Proposal step, select the Notification - Proposal Rejected task.
  8. In the Options area, in the Performers field, select Select.
  9. In the Create Performer List dialog box, in the Search field, enter your username.
  10. In the Available list, select your username.
  11. Select Move Right.
  12. Select Create.
  13. In the Form field, select Select.
  14. In the Select Form (Project) dialog box, select Proposal Rejected Notification.
  15. Select Select.
  16. Select Save.
