Monitor Resource Plan Negotiations for a Proposed Resource Plan Scenario

Monitor the status of the resource plan negotiations with the project managers for each project in the proposed resource plan scenario using the Resource Planning page. Comments are captured in the Discussion dialog box and change requests and approvals are indicated in the Resource Review Status column as well as in the Discussion dialog box for each project.

To monitor resource plan scenario proposals:

In the object selector, select a portfolio.
In the sidebar, hover over  Resources, and select Resource Planning.
On the Resource Planning page, select the proposed scenario.
In the Show list, select Included Projects.
View the Resource Review Status column to review the status of the role allocation negotiations for each project. The values are Pending, Changes Requested, or Accepted.
Select  Discuss for the project to open the Discussion panel for the project.

Tips

When the status of a scenario is Proposed, the scenario cannot be updated. To make changes to the scenario, the status must be set back to In Planning by selecting the scenario  menu and selecting Plan. If the scenario is set back to In Planning, project managers will not be able to view the proposed values. The scenario proposal must be shared again to continue with resource plan negotiations.
