Set the Idea Workflow Actions

Primavera Cloud provides a default workflow for an idea to progress through. In the Workflows and Forms app, you can create or edit workflows to replace the default workflow. After that, you can set the workflow for all ideas in a workspace to progress through.

To specify workspace idea workflow actions:

  1. In the object selector, select a workspace.
  2. In the sidebar, select Summary & Settings.
  3. On the Summary & Settings menu, select Defaults & Options, and then select Idea.
  4. On the Defaults & Options: Idea page, select the Workflow Actions tab.

    This tab shows a list of workflows to start after the action in the Action Name column.

    • Submit: Select the workflow to begin when an idea is submitted.

    Workflows that are appended with "(System)" are provided by the application.

  5. In the row that represents the workflow that you want to replace, specify the custom workflow.
  6. Select Save.
  7. In the Confirm dialog box, select Yes to enable Inherit Workflow Mapping.

    This way, all workspaces and projects within the workspace will be assigned this workflow too.

  8. In the Summary & Settings panel, select Close.

    Note: Only configured and published workflows with a Context Type of Idea can be configured for use with the ideas.
