Import a Cost Template from Microsoft Excel

You can import a cost template from a Microsoft Excel (.xls or .xlsx) file. After downloading the import template, follow the instructions to create or update funds in the spreadsheet. The import will fail if there are any invalid values in the spreadsheet. You can download the spreadsheet file to view and fix the errors indicated in the error column at the end of each worksheet, and then import the file again.

To import a cost template:

  1. In the object selector, select a project.
  2. In the sidebar, hover over Cost and Funds, and select Cash Flow.
  3. On the Cash Flow page, select the Actions menu, hover over Import, and then select a template for one of the available time periods.
  4. In the Import dialog box, select Browse, select a file, and select Import.
