Set a Primary Program for a Project
Projects can be added to one or more programs. For each project that is included in multiple programs, you can select its primary program, which will be used on the budget planning program view. You can also filter and group by primary program on the Inventory page.
To set a primary program for a project:
- Navigate to the project Details page
- In the object selector, select a project.
- In the sidebar, select Summary & Settings.
- On the Summary & Settings menu, select Details.
- In the Details section, in the Primary Program field, select a primary program.
- Save your changes:
- Select Save.
- In the Summary & Settings panel, select Close.
You can also do this in the Projects inventory panel.
- In the object selector, select Projects, and then select View All Projects.
- In the table, select a project, and then select a primary program in the Primary Program column.
Tips
- You can view and edit the primary program of a project in the Programs inventory panel Project List detail window.
- You can view which projects have set a program as their primary program on the Program Home page.
- Projects within a program that have the current program set as their primary program are marked with an indicator.
