Assign a Notebook Topic to a Project
Assign a notebook topic to a project to provide additional information on the project. Projects can have more than one notebook topic assigned to them. A notebook topic can be assigned to multiple projects, but those projects do not share notebook topic notes; the notes of the notebook topic are specifically for that project.
In order to be assigned to a project, the notebook topic must already exist for the workspace. See Add a Notebook Topic for more information.
You must have Edit privilege assigned for Projects to assign and edit notes for existing notebook topics.
To assign a notebook topic to a project:
- In the object selector, select Projects, and then select View All Projects.
- Ensure the Notebook Topics column is displayed on the Projects page.
- In Settings, Notebook Topics is located under General in the Columns tab. For more information, see the Configure a Column topic.
- In the Notebook Topics field, select Notebook Topic .
- In the Notebook Topics panel, select Add.
- In the Notes Editor, select the desired notebook topic from the Notebook Topic menu.
- (Optional) Edit the notebook topic notes.
- Select Save in the Notes Editor.
- Select Save on the Projects page.
