Configure a Selection Analysis View

You can configure Selection Analysis views to determine the budget plan data displayed during selection analysis. You can only configure charts using data types assigned to the chart when it was created. You can update grids to show different columns.

To configure an analysis view, the User Customization option must be enabled in the analysis view settings. See Configure an Analysis View in a Portfolio for more information.

To configure the Selection Analysis view:

  1. In the object selector, select a portfolio.
  2. In the sidebar, hover over Cost and Funds, and select Published Views.
  3. In the table, select the name of the analysis view to open it on the Selection Analysis page.
  4. Select Settings for the chart or grid you would like to modify.
  5. Configure your chart or grid:
    • If you selected a chart, use the tabs in the Chart Options dialog box to change the properties of the chart. Select Apply.
    • If you selected a grid, use the tabs available in the Settings dialog box to add or remove columns, filter project data, group projects by specific criteria, display additional cost curves, modify waterline options, or set formatting options. Select Apply.
