Scorecard Page Overview

The Scorecard page enables portfolio managers and budget planners to monitor the performance of a portfolio. Portfolios that have an approved budget plan are monitored here to determine which projects are influencing the performance of the plan.

Note: The approved budget plan data represents the latest approved budget plan. The latest approved plan could be from the current planning period or any of the past periods. For example, if you plan every 3 years and you had done planning for the 2016 planning period and approved it, in 2018, you would continue to see the budget plan data corresponding to 2016 budget as that is the currently approved plan. If a scenario is approved for 2018, you would start seeing data for 2018.

In addition to the data this page displays for portfolios, the view displays approved budget plan and project performance data (key performance indicators), based on thresholds defined for the budget plan.

Select a portfolio to view that portfolio's details in the detail window. The tabs in the detail window display the Projects, Programs, and Measures associated with the selected portfolio. Use Search to find portfolio data in the detail window, and use the Discussions feature to view communication and exchange information on associated objects.

An additional three levels of data are displayed on the scorecard when there is an approved budget plan.

As part of the monitoring process, budget planners can collaborate on the plan with use of Discussions, perform revisions on the plan if issues arise, and maintain versions of the approved plan by creating snapshots.
