Run a Report

You can manually run a report in the Reports app at any time.

To run a report in the Reports app:

In the object selector, select a workspace, project, portfolio, or program.
In the sidebar, hover over  Reports, and select Report List.
On the Report List page, in the table, select a report, and select Run.
In the Run dialog box, select your run options:
1. In the Layout list, select a layout for the report.
  Note: The Layout field is not available if your Primavera Cloud environment is not configured for BI Publisher-based layouts.
2. In the Output Format list, select an output format.
  Note: If the Accessible option was enabled during report creation, the output format is set to HTML to increase accessibility for users using assistive technology. You can change the output format, but if you run the report you will be alerted that the report may not meet accessibility standards if the output format is not set to HTML. If the Accessible option is disabled, you will not receive an alert.
3. In the Orientation field, select a page orientation.
  Note: The Orientation field is disabled if you have selected a BI Publisher-based layout for the report.
4. (Optional) Select Include Child Workspaces to include data from child workspaces.
  Note: The Include Child Workspaces option is only available if you are in the context of a workspace.
5. If filtering options for the report are configured to prompt at run, select your data filters.
6. (Optional) In the History section, complete one the following fields:
  1. Specify a date: Select this option and use the date picker to select a date to run the report against.
  2. Specify a time interval: Select this option to select a time relative to the current time to run the report against.
    Note: The History section is available only if you select Run report using historical data check box in the Report Editor.
(Optional) On the Filters tab, select filters for your report data.
Note: The Filter tab is unavailable if a report has no filters or the Display report at run time option is not selected in Report Editor.
Select Run.

Tips

You will receive a system notification when your report is generated.
You can also run reports from a variety of pages within Primavera Cloud. The availability of reports depends on the context of the page you are on.
On the Report List page, you can modify the Default Output Format field for a report. If this field is disabled, ensure that you are in the report's owning workspace, that you have the required security privileges, and that the report's Accessible option is not enabled.

Notes:

The time zone will be in GMT for all dates and times configured on a report.
When you run a workspace report at the project level, the report will not display data for any subject areas that are not relevant in the project context. For example, Programs, Portfolios, Strategies, and Portfolio Budget Plan subject areas will not display any data when a report with these subject areas is run at the project level.
When activity date indicators are enabled, the reports display indicators on the Start and Finish date columns of the activities that have actual dates or assigned constraints. The indicators are displayed on reports in which the main or supporting subject areas support activity start and finish dates. For example, if enabled, the activity date indicators are displayed on Start and Finish date columns of a report with the main subject area as Activities and supporting subject area as Resource Assignments. See Configure Activity Date Indicators to enable indicators.
Activity date indicators are supported for PDF, HTML, or RTF format reports. XLS, XLSX, and XML format reports do not support activity date indicators.
If enabled, activity date indicators are displayed for baseline Start and Finish dates in a report if the Start(Baseline) and Finish(Baseline) columns are added to the report.
Activity date indicators are not supported for reports created using BI publisher.
